Oil-Dri Stock Rises 1.7% After Record Quarterly Sales and Strong Profit Growth

Oil-Dri shares rose about 1.7% after the company reported record fourth-quarter sales and stronger profitability to close fiscal 2026.

Fourth-quarter revenue increased 3% year over year to $129.3 million, the highest quarterly sales in the company’s history. Operating income rose 17% to $18.2 million, while net income increased 10% to $14.4 million. Diluted EPS climbed 12% to $1.00, and EBITDA rose 13% to $24.1 million.

The improvement was supported by growth across both major business segments. Business-to-Business sales rose 4%, with animal health revenue up 18% and agricultural products up 6%. Retail and Wholesale sales increased 3%, helped by a 60% jump in co-packaged cat litter sales.

For the full year, Oil-Dri posted record net sales of $493.8 million and record net income of $57.0 million. Cash and equivalents also reached a historic high of $73.7 million despite continued capital spending, share repurchases and dividend payments.

The positive stock reaction appears to reflect the combination of record sales, double-digit fourth-quarter profit growth and strong cash generation, although higher freight and manufacturing costs remain a pressure point for margins.
