argenx Q3 Sales Jump 54% as VYVGART Momentum and Pipeline Progress Strengthen Growth Outlook

argenx (NASDAQ: ARGX) reported strong third-quarter 2026 growth, with VYVGART continuing to drive rapid commercial expansion while several late-stage pipeline programs moved closer to key regulatory and clinical milestones.

Global product net sales reached $1.7 billion, up 54% year over year and 13% sequentially. Growth was supported by continued adoption of VYVGART across generalized myasthenia gravis and CIDP, with management highlighting further opportunity from geographic expansion and additional indications.

The company is also broadening the VYVGART franchise. An sBLA for ocular myasthenia gravis has been submitted to the FDA, while the pediatric gMG application has been accepted for priority review with a February 2027 PDUFA date. An sBLA for VYVGART Hytrulo in immune-mediated necrotizing myopathy remains on track for submission by year-end 2026 following positive Phase 3 ALKIVIA results.

argenx is also advancing empasiprubart as a second major growth platform. Phase 3 results in multifocal motor neuropathy are expected in December 2026, while additional CIDP readouts are anticipated in the second half of 2027.

Beyond FcRn and empasiprubart, the company is pushing FB102 into Phase 3 development for celiac disease after positive Phase 2 results, positioning the program as another potential long-term growth pillar.

Management reiterated its Vision 2030 ambitions, which include treating 50,000 patients globally, securing 10 labeled indications and moving five pipeline candidates into registrational development by 2030.

Overall, the quarter reinforced argenx’s transition from a single-product biotech into a broader immunology platform, with strong VYVGART growth providing the commercial base while multiple pipeline assets approach potentially important value-creating milestones.
Argenx Gains 2.7% as UBS Upgrades Stock to Buy and Wells Fargo Raises Price Target

Argenx (NASDAQ: ARGX) shares rose about 2.7% after receiving two positive analyst actions, strengthening sentiment toward the biotechnology company.

UBS upgraded Argenx from Neutral to Buy and set a $1,400 price target. Based on the $1,047.31 current share price, the target implies roughly 34% upside.

Wells Fargo also became more bullish on the stock. Analyst Derek Archila maintained an Overweight rating while raising the firm's price target from $1,350 to $1,415, implying approximately 35% upside from the referenced share price.

Analyst Optimism Supports ARGX

The simultaneous positive actions from two major investment banks provide a likely catalyst for today's gain. UBS's move is particularly notable because it represents an outright rating upgrade rather than simply a higher valuation target.

Argenx operates in the biotechnology sector and is focused on treatments for severe autoimmune diseases. Its commercial portfolio is centered on its FcRn-targeting franchise, giving the company exposure to a growing class of immunology therapies.

The rating report provided does not include the analysts' detailed reasoning, so the specific assumptions behind the upgrades cannot be determined from the report alone. Still, the combination of UBS moving to Buy and Wells Fargo lifting its already-bullish target reinforces positive analyst sentiment around Argenx's growth prospects.

With both firms now assigning targets around $1,400 or higher, the analyst actions appear to be a key factor behind ARGX's 2.7% gain.
