Stellantis announced that its commercial-vehicle unit, Stellantis Pro One, will offer battery-electric vans in Europe at the same price as diesel models through June 2026.

The campaign covers compact and mid-size vans from brands including Citroën, Fiat Professional, Opel, and Peugeot. Vehicles offer payloads up to 1.5 tons and ranges of up to 340–350 km.

The initiative aims to accelerate electric-vehicle adoption among professional customers by removing the higher upfront cost of BEVs.
Opel introduced a new version of its Combo Electric compact van featuring a factory conversion by bott, enhancing versatility for professional users. The collaboration equips the van with a TÜV-certified load securing system designed for durability, safety, and ease of retrofitting. The system includes a moisture-resistant birch plywood floor, UV-resistant wall cladding made of recyclable polypropylene, and a complete set of load securing accessories.

Despite its robust setup, the system adds only about 30 kg, preserving the van’s capacity of up to 4.4 m³ and a payload of around 750 kg. The bott conversion can be installed directly at the factory or through Opel dealers as a single-invoice solution, offering tradespeople a professional and cost-efficient option for customized commercial use.
