Take-Two Pushes GTA VI to 2026, Reaffirms Record Net Bookings Outlook

Take-Two Interactive has announced that *Grand Theft Auto VI*, originally slated for a Fall 2025 release, will now launch on May 26, 2026—falling within its fiscal year 2027. Despite the delay, the company reaffirmed expectations for sequential increases and record levels of net bookings in both fiscal 2026 and 2027.

Chairman and CEO Strauss Zelnick expressed full support for Rockstar Games' decision, emphasizing a commitment to delivering a blockbuster experience that exceeds expectations. *Borderlands 4*, the latest installment in the iconic looter-shooter series by Gearbox Software and 2K, was unveiled with new gameplay during PlayStation’s State of Play on April 30, 2025.

Launching September 12, 2025, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), the game will also be available on Nintendo Switch 2 later in the year.

The preview revealed two of four new Vault Hunters: Vex the Siren and Rafa the Exo-Soldier, each bringing distinct combat styles and advanced skill trees. Set on the planet Kairos, players will battle the villainous Timekeeper and his army across four diverse regions, supported by an overhauled gear system featuring enhanced weapons, gear augmentation, and co-op-friendly mechanics.

Borderlands 4 emphasizes seamless multiplayer with dynamic scaling and instanced loot. The game will incorporate new tech systems such as the Licensed Parts and Ordnance slots for deeper customization. 2K has announced the release of WWE 2K25's *Bloodline Edition* and *Deadman Edition* for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. These editions highlight Roman Reigns' Bloodline faction and The Undertaker, respectively, while the *Standard Edition* will be available on March 14, 2025.

The game features significant enhancements, including a new *2K Showcase* focused on The Bloodline’s dynasty, a large roster of over 300 playable characters, and the introduction of *The Island*, an interactive experience where players compete to earn a WWE contract. *Intergender wrestling* is now available, alongside new match types like *Bloodline Rules* and *Underground Match*. *MyGM* mode now includes online multiplayer, allowing up to four players to compete as general managers.
