PepsiCo and AWS Launch Strategic Partnership to Drive AI-Powered Digital Transformation

PepsiCo (NASDAQ: PEP) has entered a multi-year strategic agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to accelerate digital transformation across its global operations. The collaboration will enhance PepsiCo’s cloud-first strategy, focusing on artificial intelligence, supply chain innovation, and customer experience.
Key areas of the partnership include:
• Cloud migration and modernization: PepsiCo will continue moving core applications and workloads to AWS, enabling faster deployment and scalability.
• Generative AI innovation: PepsiCo’s internal AI platform, PepGenX, now integrates with Amazon Bedrock to support advanced AI model development and enterprise-level GenAI applications.
• Enhanced consumer targeting: Using AWS, PepsiCo will deepen real-time insights into ad performance, audience segmentation, and hyper-personalized marketing, including across Amazon platforms.
• Operational transformation: Predictive maintenance and digital supply chain strategies will be developed with AWS to improve global manufacturing and logistics efficiency.

Frito-Lay Issues Limited Recall of Tostitos Cantina Chips Due to Undeclared Milk Allergen

On March 26, 2025, Frito-Lay announced a limited recall of 13 oz. bags of Tostitos Cantina Traditional Yellow Corn Tortilla Chips. The recall was issued after it was discovered that a small number of the bags may contain nacho cheese tortilla chips, which include an undeclared milk allergen.

Fewer than 1,300 affected bags were distributed through stores and digital platforms in 13 states, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. The impacted products have been available for sale since March 7.
