Salesforce has introduced Agentforce 2dx, the latest version of its digital labor platform designed to integrate proactive, autonomous AI agents into business workflows. This new release enables AI agents to engage in real-time, automate tasks without human oversight, and interact across various interfaces with rich content and media.
Key features include the Agentforce API and Invocable Actions, which allow AI agents to be integrated into backend systems and workflows, triggering actions based on data changes. MuleSoft for Agentforce enhances AI-driven automation through MuleSoft APIs, expanding integration capabilities. Agentforce Surfaces and Cards improve AI-driven interactions with dynamic content and reusable Salesforce components. Testing Center and Developer Tools provide low-code and pro-code tools for easier testing, deployment, and monitoring of AI agents. AgentExchange Marketplace serves as a hub for partner-built AI agents, launching with over 200 partners and pre-built automation tools.
Companies such as OpenTable, The Adecco Group, Precina, Vivint, and Engine are already leveraging Agentforce to enhance customer service, recruitment, healthcare, and smart home solutions. Organizations report 40 percent faster case resolution times and 25 percent higher lead conversion rates.
Analysts predict that AI-driven automation will reshape enterprise operations, with businesses using Agentforce realizing ROI up to five times faster than traditional AI implementations.
Agentforce 2dx will be generally available in April 2025, with select features rolling out earlier. AgentExchange and Agentforce Developer Edition are available now.
Salesforce aims to redefine enterprise AI automation, making digital labor more intelligent, autonomous, and widely accessible across industries.
