Workday Launches AI-Powered Total Benefits Platform for Employee Benefits Management
Workday (NASDAQ: WDAY) launched Workday Total Benefits, a new AI-powered solution designed to bring employee health, wealth and wellbeing benefits into a single experience while simplifying benefits administration for employers.
The platform combines Workday Wellness, benefits guidance through the company’s Self-Service Agent, Life and Money Solutions, and Benefits Administration Services. Workday said the system can connect benefits providers directly to its platform, automate plan administration and give employees personalized guidance on benefits, enrollment and major life events. Early Workday Wellness users reduced the time required to onboard a new benefits provider by 75%, according to the company.
Workday is also expanding its benefits ecosystem with partners including Bright Horizons, Care*com, Empower, Morgan Stanley at Work, Oura Ring and WEX. The company’s Self-Service Agent will allow employees to ask questions in plain language, compare benefit plans and take actions such as adding dependents or updating beneficiaries.
Workday Wellness and Benefits Administration Services are already available, while benefits guidance through the Self-Service Agent is expected to become generally available in October 2026. Life and Money Solutions are also available to U.S. customers, with additional integrations planned for late October.
