Rockwell Automation Joins Anthropic’s Project Glasswing for AI-Powered Cyber Defense
Rockwell Automation (NYSE: ROK) has joined Anthropic’s Project Glasswing, an initiative focused on using advanced AI to strengthen cybersecurity across critical infrastructure and software systems.
Rockwell’s security teams will receive controlled access to Claude Mythos 5 to explore faster ways to discover, validate, prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities across industrial software and connected systems. The initiative is particularly relevant as manufacturing plants increasingly connect production equipment, operational data and digital infrastructure.
Anthropic launched Project Glasswing in April 2026 for defensive cybersecurity applications. The program initially included about 50 partners and has since expanded to roughly 150 additional organizations across more than 15 countries, including companies supporting power, water, healthcare, communications and hardware infrastructure.
For Rockwell, the collaboration strengthens its industrial cybersecurity strategy by applying AI to identify vulnerabilities earlier and potentially shorten remediation times across the connected manufacturing environments its technology supports.
