Rockwell Automation Launches AI-Enabled TechConnectIQ Support
Rockwell Automation (NYSE: ROK) launched TechConnectIQ Support, a new digitally enabled remote-support platform designed to help manufacturers reduce downtime and resolve technical problems faster.
The service combines Rockwell’s technical expertise with AI-powered tools, including federated search, augmented-reality guidance and instructional content. Customers also gain real-time access to specialists and improved visibility into installed equipment and support history.
### Expanding AI Across Industrial Automation
TechConnectIQ targets a growing challenge for manufacturers: increasingly complex automation systems alongside shortages of experienced on-site technical staff. Rockwell said the platform can reduce reliance on field visits while accelerating installation, troubleshooting and software or firmware updates.
The service is available for single-site contract customers in North America, with expansion into additional regions planned for 2027.
For Rockwell, the launch strengthens its Lifecycle Services business and expands the use of AI beyond factory automation into recurring technical-support services, potentially deepening customer relationships and increasing higher-value service revenue.
