Rockwell Automation and Cytiva Launch SCADA Platform for Biopharma Manufacturers
Rockwell Automation and Cytiva have jointly launched the Figurate SCADA system, a supervisory control and data acquisition platform aimed at eliminating digital bottlenecks in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. The platform integrates Cytiva's bioprocessing equipment with Rockwell's FactoryTalk software suite, offering real-time monitoring, centralized alarms, and batch reporting from a single interface. It is designed to work across multiple instrument vendors and scale from process development all the way to commercial manufacturing without requiring a system redesign. The companies say the platform can reduce capital and operational costs while supporting regulatory compliance. Figurate SCADA is available globally starting today.
