Garmin announced that several of its aviation retrofit solutions have received certification from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), expanding their availability across a wide range of aircraft in Europe.
The approvals include the GI 275 electronic flight display for helicopters, the G5000 integrated flight deck upgrade for Cessna Citation XLS+ aircraft, the Cirrus Perspective+ upgrade for SR Series planes, and a new digital distance measuring equipment (DME) solution.
These upgrades are designed to modernize cockpits, improve pilot situational awareness, reduce operational costs, and address obsolescence of legacy avionics systems.
Garmin said the certifications support its strategy to deliver advanced, scalable avionics solutions while enhancing safety and performance across general and business aviation.
