Scotiabank announced that it expects to record approximately CAD $77 million in net income contribution in the second quarter of 2026 from its stake in KeyCorp, reflecting its share of KeyCorp’s first-quarter earnings.

After adjusting for acquisition-related intangible amortization of about CAD $8 million, the contribution is expected to rise to roughly CAD $85 million on an adjusted basis. The reported figures also incorporate funding costs and are recognized with a one-month reporting lag.

Scotiabank indicated that these results will be included in its upcoming second-quarter earnings release scheduled for May 27, 2026.

The update highlights the financial impact of Scotiabank’s investment in KeyCorp, providing early visibility into earnings contributions from its U.S. banking exposure.
