Carrier Transicold has upgraded Wild Water Group’s trailer fleet with its Vector HE 17 refrigeration units, delivering improved fuel efficiency, cooling performance, and reduced noise levels.
Following an initial rollout of five units, the logistics provider reported strong operational gains and now plans to replace all remaining legacy systems across its 24-trailer fleet as part of a broader modernization strategy.
The Vector HE 17 units offer cooling capacity above 16 kW, up to 6 dB noise reduction, and enhanced fuel savings through inverter-driven technology that adjusts compressor speed based on demand. The system also incorporates E-Drive technology, eliminating mechanical transmissions to improve energy efficiency.
The upgrade supports Wild Water Group’s efforts to enhance sustainability and optimize its temperature-controlled distribution network, reflecting a wider industry trend toward more efficient and lower-emission cold chain solutions.
