Scotiabank has launched “Scotia Intelligence,” a new enterprise-wide platform aimed at accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence across its global operations.
The initiative integrates data, cloud infrastructure, and governance frameworks to enable secure and scalable AI use for employees and clients. A key component, Scotia Navigator, provides AI-powered tools for daily workflows, including coding assistance, research automation, and the development of custom AI agents.
The bank reported early operational impact, with AI handling over 40% of customer queries in contact centers and automating around 90% of commercial banking emails, significantly reducing manual workloads and improving efficiency.
