Norfolk Southern announced a new partnership with Jaguar Transport Holdings to expand freight capacity and improve rail service in the metro Atlanta area.

Under the agreement, Jaguar will manage local rail operations, including switching services and operation of Norfolk Southern’s Doraville transload terminal, while investing in infrastructure upgrades to support increased freight volumes. The collaboration aims to enhance first- and last-mile connectivity, improve service reliability, and enable new industrial development in the region.

The partnership is expected to drive growth by increasing transload capacity, improving network efficiency, and attracting new customers to rail-based logistics solutions.

Norfolk Southern said the deal aligns with its broader strategy of leveraging short-line partnerships to extend network reach and unlock demand-driven growth opportunities.
