Corning Incorporated (NYSE: GLW) has launched Corning® Gorilla® Glass Ceramic 3, its most durable Gorilla Glass Ceramic to date, designed to enhance long-term drop protection in consumer devices.
In lab testing, Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 survived drops of more than two meters onto concrete-like surfaces and at least 20 repeated one-meter drops onto asphalt-like surfaces, significantly outperforming competitive aluminosilicate glass.
Motorola will be the first manufacturer to feature the new cover material on its upcoming razr fold smartphone, which will be showcased at Mobile World Congress 2026.
