Mercado Libre Issues $750 Million in Oversubscribed 2033 Senior Notes
Mercado Libre announced the successful issuance of $750 million in senior unsecured notes due 2033, marking its first bond offering since achieving Investment Grade status. The 4.900 percent SEC-registered notes attracted strong demand from over 150 institutional investors and were 3.6 times oversubscribed, reflecting confidence in the company’s strategy and cash-generation capabilities.
CFO Martín de los Santos said the offering strengthens liquidity and optimizes the company’s funding structure under favorable market conditions. Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
