Schneider National Reports Q3 2025 Results; Maintains Full-Year Outlook Despite Softer Market
Schneider National (NYSE: SNDR) reported third-quarter 2025 operating revenues of $1.45 billion, up 10% from $1.32 billion a year earlier, driven by the acquisition of Cowan Systems and steady growth across its segments. Income from operations fell 18% to $35.3 million due to higher claims costs and inflationary pressures. Net income declined 37% to $19.4 million, with diluted EPS at $0.11 versus $0.17 in 2024. Adjusted EPS was $0.12.
Truckload segment revenues rose 17% to $624.5 million, fueled by a 22% increase in Dedicated volume from Cowan’s integration, though margins tightened due to startup inefficiencies and higher insurance and equipment costs. Intermodal revenue grew 6% to $281.4 million on 10% volume growth, while Logistics sales rose 6% to $332.1 million but faced weaker brokerage activity.
Schneider reaffirmed its full-year adjusted EPS guidance of approximately $0.70 and net capital expenditures of about $300 million. CEO Mark Rourke highlighted resilient performance despite sub-seasonal freight trends, noting ongoing progress in structural efficiency initiatives and growth in Dedicated and Intermodal operations.
