Nissan Records ¥467 Billion Impairment Loss for FY2024

Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. announced it recorded a ¥467.1 billion impairment loss in its consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025. The charge stems from a revised future plan that led to the revaluation of fixed assets, as well as deteriorating financial conditions at certain subsidiaries and affiliates.

In its standalone financials, Nissan also recognized a ¥75.5 billion loss on the valuation of shares in subsidiaries and a ¥203.9 billion provision for losses at affiliates. These standalone losses will be eliminated at the consolidated level and will not impact the group's overall consolidated results.
