On April 30, 2025, Walmart opened its first ground-up Supercenter in four years in Cypress, Texas. The store serves as a flagship for the company’s broader plan to build or convert over 150 stores nationwide in the coming years. This next-generation Supercenter blends digital innovation, community focus, and retail modernization.
