Williams Names Larry Larsen as Chief Operating Officer
Williams (NYSE: WMB) has appointed Larry Larsen as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, effective May 3, succeeding Micheal Dunn following his announced retirement. In this new role, Larsen will oversee the company’s transmission, storage, gathering, and processing operations.
CEO Alan Armstrong praised Larsen’s experience and alignment with the company’s natural gas-focused strategy, highlighting his capability to ensure continuity and drive long-term growth.
Larsen has been with Williams since 1999, serving in numerous leadership roles, including Vice President-General Manager for the Rocky Mountain Midstream franchise and most recently as Senior Vice President, Gathering and Processing. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah.
Williams operates a 33,000-mile pipeline network, moving approximately one-third of the U.S.’s natural gas, and continues to invest in energy infrastructure and emissions-reducing technologies.
