CrowdStrike Launches Falcon Privileged Access to Strengthen Identity Security Across Hybrid Environments

CrowdStrike has announced the general availability of Falcon Privileged Access, a new module within its Falcon Identity Protection suite, aimed at enhancing security across the entire identity attack lifecycle. This innovation marks a major step in securing privileged access in hybrid environments by integrating real-time, AI-driven controls.

Falcon Privileged Access is designed to protect against advanced identity-based threats, from initial access and privilege escalation to lateral movement. The tool incorporates CrowdStrike’s AI-driven Charlotte Agentic Detection Triage, allowing for rapid threat prioritization with over 98 percent accuracy. It also integrates with Falcon Next-Gen SIEM for real-time detection and Falcon Fusion SOAR for automated response, including disabling compromised accounts and enforcing multifactor authentication.

The platform introduces Just-in-Time Privileged Access, dynamically granting or revoking access based on real-time user and device risk signals. By eliminating always-on privileges, organizations can reduce the risk of misuse and ensure elevated access is only provided when truly needed.

“Adversaries are relentlessly targeting privileged access to compromise sensitive systems,” said CrowdStrike President Michael Sentonas. “Falcon Privileged Access enables organizations to take back control and make real-time, risk-aware decisions from a single, unified platform.”

CrowdStrike also introduced Pulse Services, a support program offering cloud configuration reviews and policy optimization to help clients strengthen defenses against identity-based attacks.
