Ferguson Enterprises (NYSE: FERG) announced the acquisition of two companies: Independent Pipe & Supply Corp. and National Fire Equipment Ltd. along with National Fire Fabrication Ltd.

Independent Pipe & Supply, based in Canton, Massachusetts, operates eight locations across the Northeast US and serves commercial and mechanical professionals. This acquisition expands Ferguson’s footprint and fabrication capabilities in New England.

National Fire, headquartered in Toronto, operates seven locations in Canada and provides fire protection and fabrication products. It enhances Ferguson’s fire and fabrication offerings and will operate under Wolseley Canada.

CEO Kevin Murphy said both deals support Ferguson’s growth strategy and bring valuable customer relationships and experienced teams. Ferguson has completed about 50 acquisitions in the last five years, targeting a fragmented market of over 10,000 small to mid-sized firms in North America.
