Atlassian Appoints Karen Dykstra to Board, Enrique Salem Steps Down

Atlassian has appointed Karen Dykstra, former CFO of VMware and AOL, to its Board of Directors. Dykstra currently serves on the boards of Gartner Inc. and Arm Holdings Plc and brings over 30 years of financial leadership experience. Her expertise in financial strategy and operational efficiency is expected to strengthen Atlassian’s growth and enterprise expansion efforts.

Karen Dykstra previously held key financial leadership roles at VMware, AOL, and Automatic Data Processing. She was also a partner at Plainfield Asset Management and COO/CFO at Plainfield Direct LLC.

Simultaneously, Enrique Salem, a board member since 2013 and former CEO of Symantec, has stepped down. Atlassian CEO Mike Cannon-Brookes acknowledged Salem's significant contributions, especially in enhancing customer experience.
