Costco Reports 8.6% March Sales Growth, Strong E-Commerce Performance

Costco Wholesale Corporation reported net sales of $25.51 billion for March 2025, an 8.6% increase from $23.48 billion in March 2024. For the first 31 weeks of fiscal 2025, total sales reached $158.87 billion, up 8.3% year-over-year.

Comparable sales for the five-week period rose 6.4% overall, with the U.S. up 7.5%, Canada 4.1%, and other international markets 2.9%. E-commerce sales surged 16.2%. Excluding gasoline and foreign exchange effects, comparable sales rose 9.1% overall and 17.5% in e-commerce.

The company noted that an extra shopping day in March, due to Easter's calendar shift, positively impacted sales figures by about 1.5%.

Costco operates 903 warehouses globally and maintains e-commerce sites in several major markets.
