Verisk has launched its Commercial GenAI Underwriting Assistant, a cloud-based tool designed to modernize property underwriting. The solution uses generative AI to automate workflows, summarize complex data, and provide real-time risk insights, while integrating directly into insurers’ existing systems. It combines AI-driven outputs with human expertise to boost efficiency and decision-making. Verisk says the tool addresses rising costs, workforce shortages, and profitability pressures, with 69% of industry leaders expecting AI to be the most significant driver of change in insurance over the next five years.
