Allstate reported estimated catastrophe losses of $1.04 billion for March 2025, mostly due to wind and hail events. After-tax, losses totaled $818 million. For the first quarter, total catastrophe losses reached $2.2 billion. Allstate also surpassed its reinsurance retention level, leading to $123 million in recoveries.

As of March 31, 2025, total policies in force were 37.7 million, up slightly from February. Auto policies were down 0.4% year over year, while homeowners policies increased 2.5%. Commercial lines declined over 30% compared to the previous year.
