AppLovin Appoints Maynard Webb to Board; Edward Oberwager to Step Down After Term Ends
AppLovin Corporation has appointed Maynard Webb to its Board of Directors as of April 9, 2025. Webb will also serve on the Audit Committee and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. With a career spanning key leadership roles—including COO at eBay and CEO at Liveops—Webb currently serves on the boards of Salesforce and Visa. He will receive standard non-employee director compensation and enter into an indemnification agreement with the company.
Additionally, Edward Oberwager has notified AppLovin of his decision not to seek re-election at the company’s 2025 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. He will continue to serve on the Board until his term concludes. The company clarified that his decision was not due to any disagreement with management.
