AppLovin has appointed Maynard Webb to its Board of Directors as an independent director.
Webb, founder of Webb Investment Network and a veteran tech executive, will also join the board’s Audit Committee and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. His current board roles at Visa and Salesforce, along with previous leadership positions at companies like eBay and LiveOps, bring extensive operational and strategic expertise to AppLovin.
CEO Adam Foroughi highlighted Webb's longstanding relationship with the company, dating back to his investment in 2012, and emphasized the value Webb will add as AppLovin continues expanding its performance marketing platform.
In the same announcement, AppLovin disclosed that Ted Oberwager of KKR will not seek re-election at the next annual meeting but will remain on the board until then.
Webb joins a diverse board that includes leaders from companies like Wynn Resorts, Montai Health, and Roblox, reflecting AppLovin’s focus on experienced guidance to support its continued growth.
