Archer Aviation Appoints Harsh Rungta as SVP Finance and Chief Accounting Officer
San Jose, CA – March 31, 2025 – Archer Aviation Inc. (NYSE: ACHR) announced the appointment of Harsh Rungta as Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Accounting Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Rungta will serve as the Company’s principal accounting officer.
Background
Prior to joining Archer, Mr. Rungta served at Tesla, Inc., most recently as Director, Accounting Controllership since April 2024.
He previously held leadership roles at Tesla and began his career with over 12 years at PwC.
Mr. Rungta holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Delhi University, is a Chartered Accountant (India) and a CPA (inactive) in California.
Compensation Terms
Base salary: $375,000
Sign-on bonus: $200,000
Relocation bonus: $50,000
Annual bonus eligibility: Target $200,000
Equity award: $2 million in RSUs based on March 2025 average closing stock price
Refresh RSUs: Eligible as part of annual grant program
Additional benefits include participation in Archer’s standard employee benefit plans.
