Simon Opens First Premium Outlets in Indonesia
On March 27, 2025, Simon announced the official opening of Jakarta Premium Outlets, its first Premium Outlet center in Indonesia. Located in Tangerang, just outside Jakarta, the outlet spans more than 302,000 square feet and includes over 150 international and local brands. This marks the eighth country to feature the Premium Outlet brand.
Prominent luxury and lifestyle brands at the new outlet include Bally, BOSS, Coach, Furla, Lacoste, Longchamp, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Kenzo, Versace, Swarovski, Tumi, and The North Face. It also hosts the first adidas outlet store in Indonesia, the largest adidas outlet in Southeast Asia, along with other sporting brands such as Nike, Puma, Hoka, Reebok, New Balance, Skechers, Converse, and Under Armour.
Inspired by the Indonesian archipelago, the center features shaded walkways, greenery, and water elements. While it is already open to the public, a formal grand opening ceremony will be held in the second quarter of 2025.
The outlet serves the Greater Jakarta area and is strategically located within Alam Sutera Township, Tangerang City. It benefits from easy access via the Jakarta–Merak Toll Road and the Kunciran-Serpong Toll Road, offering direct connectivity to Central Jakarta and Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
Jakarta Premium Outlets is operated by Simon Genting Pte. Ltd., a joint venture between Simon and Genting Plantations Berhad. The venture also includes Johor Premium Outlets and Genting Highlands Premium Outlets in Malaysia.
