Walt Farrell Named CEO of Atlanta Gas Light and Chattanooga Gas
Southern Company Gas has appointed Walt Farrell as president and CEO of Atlanta Gas Light and Chattanooga Gas, effective March 31, 2025. He will lead operations serving 1.8 million natural gas customers across Georgia and Tennessee.
Farrell, currently VP of economic development at Georgia Power, brings extensive experience in business recruitment and community engagement. Under his leadership, Georgia Power earned top national rankings in economic development.
He succeeds in this role as a well-regarded leader with deep ties to Georgia’s economic growth efforts and a strong track record in public-private partnerships.
