Kraft Heinz to Sell North America Coffee Business to One Rock for $650 Million

Kraft Heinz (NYSE: KHC) agreed to sell its North America coffee business to One Rock Capital Partners at an enterprise value of $650 million.

The transaction includes brands such as Maxwell House, Gevalia, Nabob, Yuban, Tassimo, Ethical Bean and Sanka. Kraft Heinz will retain a 30% non-controlling stake in the business.

The company expects approximately $500 million in after-tax cash proceeds and plans to use the funds to reduce debt. Kraft Heinz said the divestiture should be accretive to growth and margins.

The deal is expected to close in mid-2027, subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions.

The transaction is part of Kraft Heinz’s broader effort to simplify its portfolio and direct more investment toward higher-priority brands and growth areas.
