L3Harris Receives $36 Million U.S. Army SATCOM Order for C2NOW Program
L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) received a $36 million order from the U.S. Army for its Hawkeye 4 Lite satellite communications terminals, supporting the military’s Command and Control Network Optimized for Warfighting, or C2NOW, initiative.
The terminals are designed to strengthen secure satellite communications interoperability between U.S. forces and NATO partners while providing rapidly deployable communications capabilities for field operations.
The Army configuration will use L3Harris’ Hawkeye 4 Lite terminal, which features field-swappable components intended to provide greater flexibility in changing operational environments.
The system is a portable satellite communications platform designed to support high-speed data, voice, video and command-and-control applications. Its deployment under C2NOW supports the Army’s broader effort to modernize battlefield communications and improve resilient networking across deployed forces.
The order adds to L3Harris’ recent activity supporting Army command-and-control modernization, including multiple communications and networking programs aimed at improving connectivity across increasingly distributed battlefield environments.
