Lockheed Martin Expands $25 Million 25Forward Initiative Through 11 New Partnerships

Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) expanded its 25Forward initiative through new and broadened partnerships with 11 organizations focused on preserving the legacy of Sept. 11, supporting veterans and first responders, and strengthening community preparedness.

The five-year program represents a $25 million commitment tied to the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks. Lockheed Martin said the initiative is designed to preserve historical stories, support survivors and military families, and expand education, volunteerism and disaster-readiness efforts.

Partner organizations include 9/11 Day, the FDNY Foundation, Friends of Flight 93 National Memorial, Gary Sinise Foundation, Pentagon Memorial Fund, Scholarship America, Soldiers’ Angels and Team Rubicon, among others.

Lockheed Martin initially launched 25Forward in September with a $10 million contribution to the Pentagon Memorial Visitor Education Center. The broader initiative will continue over the next five years.

The announcement is primarily a corporate social responsibility development rather than a direct financial catalyst, but it reinforces Lockheed Martin’s long-term engagement with military, veteran and national-service communities closely aligned with its defense business and brand positioning.
