Bristol Myers Squibb Raises 2026 Revenue Outlook as Growth Portfolio Sales Increase 12%
Bristol Myers Squibb (NYSE: BMY) reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $13.1 billion, up 7% year over year, supported by continued double-digit growth across its newer medicines portfolio.
Growth Portfolio revenue increased 12% to $7.7 billion, led by Opdivo Qvantig, Breyanzi, Reblozyl, Camzyos and Opdualag. Legacy Portfolio revenue rose 1% to $5.4 billion, with Eliquis growth offsetting continued generic pressure across other mature products.
U.S. revenue increased 9% to $9.1 billion, while international revenue rose 3% to $4.0 billion, or 4% excluding currency effects.
GAAP EPS was $1.05, down from $1.08 a year earlier, while non-GAAP EPS declined 17% to $1.35. Both figures included a $0.58-per-share negative net impact from acquired in-process research and development charges and licensing income, compared with a $0.20 impact in the prior-year quarter.
Bristol Myers raised its full-year 2026 revenue forecast to $49.75 billion-$50.25 billion from the previous $49.0 billion-$50.0 billion range, citing broad-based portfolio momentum. However, non-GAAP EPS guidance was revised down to $6.35-$6.55 from $6.75-$7.00, largely reflecting a much larger expected impact from acquired IPR&D and licensing activity.
The company continues to expect worldwide Eliquis revenue to grow 20%-25% in 2026. Recent pipeline progress, including the approval of Zenbexus for multiple myeloma, also supports Bristol Myers’ effort to offset future erosion in its legacy portfolio with newer growth products.
