Roper Technologies Jumps 7% as Q3 Growth and Higher Guidance Boost Investor Confidence
Roper Technologies (NASDAQ: ROP) shares rose about 7% after the company reported solid third-quarter 2026 growth and raised its full-year adjusted EPS outlook.
Revenue increased 8% year over year to $2.17 billion, including 7% organic growth and a 1% contribution from acquisitions. Adjusted EBITDA rose 7% to $864 million.
GAAP net earnings increased 22% to $485 million, while adjusted net earnings rose 5% to $586 million. Adjusted diluted EPS climbed 15% to $5.89, while GAAP diluted EPS increased 33% to $4.88.
Management said adjusted EPS exceeded its expectations, prompting an increase in full-year guidance. Roper now expects 2026 adjusted EPS of $22.35 to $22.40, up from its previous range of $22.15 to $22.30. Fourth-quarter adjusted EPS is expected at $5.95 to $6.00.
Roper also remained active on capital deployment, spending $436 million on three bolt-on acquisitions for iPipeline, Procare and Strata. The company additionally received $1.2 billion in proceeds from Indicor’s sale of instrumentation businesses and said it still has more than $6 billion of capital deployment capacity.
Management also highlighted several AI-related product launches across PowerPlan, Strata and Vertafore, with the company embedding agentic capabilities into mission-critical customer workflows.
The 7% gain appears to reflect the combination of strong organic growth, double-digit adjusted EPS growth and the upward revision to full-year guidance, along with continued acquisition capacity and expanding AI-related product opportunities.
