CRH to Acquire NCC Industry Operations in Denmark and Finland
CRH (NYSE: CRH) announced an agreement to acquire NCC Industry’s operations in Denmark and Finland from NCC AB, expanding its aggregates-led portfolio across the Nordic region.
In Denmark, the deal includes NCC Industry’s network of asphalt plants, land- and marine-based aggregates sites, and high-quality reserves. CRH said the assets will strengthen its exposure to road, infrastructure and industrial projects.
In Finland, the acquisition includes reserve-backed hard-rock quarries, backfilling operations and recycling businesses. CRH expects these assets to complement its existing Finnish operations and broaden its connected portfolio.
The company said the transaction is aligned with its strategy of building an aggregates-focused business positioned to benefit from long-term infrastructure investment and urban growth trends.
CRH also expects the acquisition to deepen its presence in key Nordic markets and strengthen customer relationships across major infrastructure end-markets.
The transaction remains subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions, with completion expected during 2027. Financial terms were not disclosed in the announcement.
