Cardinal Health Extends Pharmaceutical Distribution Agreement With CVS Health Through 2032
Cardinal Health said it entered into a binding letter of intent to extend its existing pharmaceutical distribution agreement with CVS Health through June 30, 2032.
The extension preserves Cardinal Health’s current scope of distribution services and reinforces a long-standing relationship with one of the largest healthcare and pharmacy operators in the U.S.
In connection with the renewal, Cardinal Health reaffirmed its fiscal 2027 non-GAAP EPS guidance of $12.40 to $12.60, representing growth of 13% to 15%. The company also maintained its long-term non-GAAP EPS growth target of 12% to 14%.
The agreement provides greater long-term visibility for a major part of Cardinal Health’s pharmaceutical distribution business and reduces uncertainty around the continuation of a strategically important customer relationship.
Further details may be provided when Cardinal Health reports fiscal first-quarter results on November 5.
