Jabil Stock Falls 7.2% Despite Strong Q4 Results and Bullish Fiscal 2027 Outlook
Jabil shares fell 7.2% after the company reported strong fiscal fourth-quarter results and issued an upbeat fiscal 2027 outlook, with management highlighting accelerating demand for AI infrastructure.
Fourth-quarter revenue reached $10.6 billion, while GAAP operating income was $602 million. GAAP diluted EPS came in at $3.76, while core diluted EPS was $4.40.
For the full fiscal year, Jabil generated $36.0 billion in revenue, up 21%, while core operating margin expanded by 40 basis points. Core diluted EPS reached $13.09, and adjusted free cash flow exceeded $1.5 billion.
The company also issued strong guidance for fiscal 2027. Jabil expects revenue of $44.5 billion, representing 24% growth, along with core operating margin of 6.1%, core diluted EPS of $17.55 and adjusted free cash flow of approximately $1.6 billion. Management pointed to accelerating AI demand as well as growth in automotive, healthcare, energy infrastructure, defense and aerospace, and warehouse and retail automation.
For the first quarter, Jabil guided to revenue of $10.6 billion to $11.4 billion and core EPS of $3.80 to $4.20.
The 7.2% decline suggests investors may have been looking for even stronger near-term guidance or a larger upside surprise given the stock’s exposure to AI infrastructure. The reaction also indicates that high expectations were already embedded in the share price despite the company’s strong operating momentum and fiscal 2027 growth outlook.
