Square Integrates Apple Business to Boost Local Merchant Visibility Across Apple Maps

Block’s (NYSE: XYZ) Square announced a new integration with Apple Business that allows eligible Square sellers to manage their business presence across Apple Maps, Siri AI, Apple Wallet and other Apple apps directly from the Square Dashboard.

The integration lets merchants automatically sync key information such as business hours, addresses and phone numbers, while also adding branding and action links for menus, orders, pickup, delivery, bookings and appointments. Square said claimed locations receive 30% more views on Apple Maps, while action links can increase click-through rates across website, call and other engagement buttons by 31%.

The integration is designed to reduce the operational burden of maintaining business information across multiple channels while improving local discovery and conversion. Square also said future updates are expected to add engagement metrics and peer benchmarking within the Square Dashboard.

The Apple Business integration is now available to eligible Square sellers in Australia, Canada, France, Ireland, Japan, Spain, the U.K. and the U.S.
