Autodesk Expands Agentic AI Across Forma, Fusion and Flow
Autodesk (NASDAQ: ADSK) previewed a new generation of agentic AI capabilities across its three industry clouds — Forma for architecture and construction, Fusion for design and manufacturing, and Flow for media and entertainment. The technology will expand Autodesk Assistant across products, projects and teams using connected project data and context.
The next-generation Assistant is designed to do more than answer questions. It can identify project issues, evaluate downstream effects and help users take actions across workflows through natural-language and voice interactions. Customers will also be able to connect their own AI agents and third-party tools through Assistant Builder.
Autodesk says its advantage comes from grounding AI in specialized engineering data such as geometry, physics, design constraints, manufacturing processes and project history. For example, a structural change to a building could trigger analysis of its potential effects on fabrication, scheduling, costs and construction sequencing.
Autodesk Assistant is already available across several products, including Forma, Fusion and Flow. The expanded agentic AI experience is currently being previewed at Autodesk University 2026, with rollout details and availability expected in 2027.
