Fortinet Invests More Than $60 Million in New York Cybersecurity Innovation Hub
Fortinet (NASDAQ: FTNT) has opened a new company-owned Innovation Hub in New York City, investing more than $60 million to expand its presence in one of its most important enterprise and financial-services markets.
The approximately 40,000-square-foot facility is three times larger than Fortinet’s previous New York office and will provide customers and partners with access to cybersecurity experts, technology demonstrations, executive briefings and training. Fortinet said its New York customers include the city’s top 10 financial-services enterprises.
The facility also includes a new Fortinet Cloud point of presence powered by the company’s custom ASIC technology, expanding its cloud network while supporting AI technology delivery. A dedicated cybersecurity training center and executive briefing center are also part of the investment.
The New York expansion adds to Fortinet’s network of Innovation Hubs in markets including Chicago, Atlanta, London and Sydney, supporting the cybersecurity company’s strategy of strengthening direct engagement with large enterprise customers and partners.
