New Zealand Manufacturing Growth Eases in August as Business NZ PMI Falls to 53.1
New Zealand’s manufacturing sector continued to expand in August, although the pace of growth moderated from the previous month.
The Business NZ Performance of Manufacturing Index (PMI) fell to 53.1 in August from 54.3 previously. Despite the decline, the index remained above the 50 threshold that separates expansion from contraction.
