Snowflake Rises 4.3% as Barclays Sets $332 Price Target

Snowflake (NYSE: SNOW) shares rose about 4.3% on Thursday after Barclays set a $332 price target on the cloud data and artificial intelligence company.

Barclays analyst Raimo Lenschow issued the $332 target, compared with the $328.83 share price. The target sits only slightly above the current price, suggesting Barclays sees Snowflake trading relatively close to its assessed valuation.

AI and Cloud Data Strength Support Snowflake

Snowflake occupies a strategically important position at the intersection of cloud computing, enterprise data and artificial intelligence. Its platform allows organizations to consolidate, process and analyze large datasets across multiple cloud environments.

That data layer has become increasingly important with the rapid adoption of generative and agentic AI. Enterprises need large quantities of well-organized and governed proprietary data to develop AI applications, potentially increasing demand for platforms that can manage and analyze that information at scale.

Snowflake therefore offers investors exposure to AI infrastructure through the data side of the technology stack rather than through semiconductor hardware.

Why SNOW Stock Is Rising

The 4.3% gain appears to be supported by the new Barclays analyst coverage and continued investor enthusiasm around Snowflake's position in cloud data and AI.

However, the $332 price target is only about 1% above the $328.83 share price shown in the report. That means the target itself implies limited additional upside following the stock's advance.

The positive market reaction may therefore reflect broader confidence in Snowflake's AI and cloud-data positioning alongside the new analyst coverage rather than the price target alone.

Snowflake remains one of the more direct software beneficiaries of growing enterprise AI adoption because AI applications depend heavily on access to high-quality corporate data. The company's ability to translate that strategic position into sustained revenue growth and stronger profitability will remain central to the investment case.
