L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) has begun full-scale testing of its solid-fueled ramjet propulsion technology, advancing a new generation of high-speed missile systems designed to provide greater range, faster engagement and improved capability against advanced threats.
Testing at the company's Orange County, Virginia, facility demonstrated booster and solid-fueled ramjet performance in line with expectations. The internally funded program is intended for rapid integration into a family of multi-mission missiles.
