Jabil Stock Jumps 5% After UBS Upgrades JBL to Buy

Jabil (NYSE: JBL) shares climbed about 5% on Tuesday after UBS upgraded the stock to Buy from Neutral.

UBS analyst David Vogt maintained a $430 price target, compared with the $352.48 current share price, implying roughly 22% upside.

The upgrade likely reflects Jabil’s increasingly strong position in the AI infrastructure and data center hardware ecosystem. As AI-related capital spending continues to expand, Jabil is positioned to benefit from demand for advanced manufacturing, cloud and data center infrastructure, networking equipment and other high-complexity electronics.

Jabil’s diversified manufacturing platform also gives the company exposure beyond AI, including cloud infrastructure, semiconductor equipment, automotive and healthcare markets. Its growing participation in higher-value technology segments could support stronger revenue growth and margins as the business mix evolves.

The combination of Jabil’s AI-sector exposure, broader technology manufacturing position and UBS’s $430 price target appears to have strengthened investor sentiment, helping drive JBL shares about 5% higher today.
