Celestica Stock Rises 3.3% in Premarket After Blowout Q2 Results and Higher 2026 Outlook

Celestica (NYSE: CLS) shares rose about 3.3% in premarket trading after the electronics manufacturing and data center infrastructure provider reported second-quarter results that exceeded guidance across the board and significantly raised its full-year outlook.

The company posted second-quarter revenue of $4.70 billion, up 62% from a year earlier and well above its guidance range of $4.15 billion to $4.45 billion. Adjusted EPS climbed to $2.54 from $1.39 a year ago, also surpassing the high end of management's guidance. Adjusted operating margin expanded to a record 8.2%, reflecting strong operating leverage and execution.

Management attributed the strong performance to accelerating demand for AI infrastructure, improved component availability, and robust customer spending across its data center business. The Connectivity & Cloud Solutions segment led the way, with revenue surging 84% year over year to $3.81 billion, while the Advanced Technology Solutions segment grew 8%.

Following the stronger-than-expected quarter, Celestica raised its 2026 outlook across all key financial metrics. The company now expects full-year revenue of $20.5 billion, up from its previous forecast of $19.0 billion, while adjusted EPS guidance increased to $11.30 from $10.15. Management also raised its adjusted operating margin target to 8.4% and boosted its free cash flow outlook to $600 million.

Looking beyond this year, management struck an even more optimistic tone, stating that revenue growth is expected to accelerate further in 2027, exceeding the approximately 65% growth anticipated for 2026. The company also expects adjusted EPS to grow faster than revenue next year as margins continue to expand.

The strong earnings beat, substantial guidance increase, and exceptionally bullish commentary on AI-driven demand appear to be driving today's premarket gains. Investors also welcomed management's growing confidence in customer demand and long-term visibility, reinforcing Celestica's position as one of the leading beneficiaries of the ongoing AI infrastructure investment cycle.
