RTX reported strong first-quarter 2026 results, with sales rising 9% year-on-year to $22.1 billion and organic growth reaching 10%. Adjusted earnings per share increased 21% to $1.78, reflecting solid performance across all business segments.
The company generated $1.9 billion in operating cash flow and $1.3 billion in free cash flow during the quarter, while maintaining a large backlog of $271 billion, split between commercial and defense businesses.
Driven by the strong start to the year and continued demand—particularly in its defense segment—RTX raised its full-year 2026 outlook. The company now expects adjusted sales of $92.5–$93.5 billion and adjusted EPS of $6.70–$6.90, while reaffirming its free cash flow guidance.
