Siemens AG and KION Group have announced a strategic partnership to digitalize supply chains and warehouse operations using AI, automation, and digital twin technologies.
The collaboration focuses on creating intelligent warehouses where real-time data from sensors and cameras is analyzed through AI to simulate and optimize operations. As part of the agreement, KION will become the first company in Europe to deploy Siemens’ Digital Twin Composer software, enabling real-time, parallel simulation of logistics processes and improving efficiency and flexibility.
The partnership also includes industrial data sharing, combining KION’s operational expertise with Siemens’ digital platforms to accelerate AI-driven solutions. Both companies aim to enhance supply chain resilience, productivity, and adaptability, as global logistics systems face increasing complexity and demand.
